I can personally attest to this.  I was recently working with a buyer client to purchase an older home in Mountain View, CA, remodeled with many green features like solar panels, passive solar , foam-insulated roof, denim insulation, Low VOC finishes, sustainable flooring, tankless water heater, and modern design.

It was listed at $728k.  They garnered 5 overbids (my client’s being one of them).   The winning bidder took it with $800k…the very close second was $799k.  This was the highest sold $/sf in the neighborhood in the past 3 months.  WOW!!!
